I am as Chic as Chic Hotel!

Hey Gals!

This picture perfect place has me wanting to move to Greece! Oh Greece you are so romantic and beautiful. When my friend and I first booked  our tickets the fist thing I researched was places the place to stay. I was so scared that we wouldn’t be able find a cute place, like the ones I would see on Instagram. Just like that my search for hotels started on Instagram. Pictures from previous hotel customers are the best, it really shows how the hotel looks. Most times the hotels websites have altered photos and you think your getting something but you get another. While on my search I came across the Chic Hotel. My next move was to go to their website and check them out. Their pictures were as dreamy as the ones from their customers. Then I was curious to see what hotel deals I could find. I started with the airlines because sometimes they offer specials since you bought plane tickets with them, Swiss airline offered on their page and lucky enough they had Chic hotel. Of course I had to look for the hotel rating and luckily it has a 4.5 rating on trip advisor, this made the decision so much easier.

Where did I stay:
Like I said my stay was at Chic Hotel in Santorini, Greece. The hotel is located in Firostefani, so close to the upbeat town of Fira. The location was so wonderful. It had amazing caldera and ocean views, plus the path to walk to Fira and Oia was  right above the hotel. It had so many good restaurants. Our stay was during the last week of July. Even thought they told us during this month there would be a lot of tourist we took a chance to see what Greece had to offer. This is also the reason why we thought there would be no hotels available, but so happy we found this one.

What happened at my stay:
My first impression of the hotel was during our email conversation. I wanted to see if they had transportation to and from the airport and if they had plug converters. Their email seemed so ecstatic and happy to respond to any of our questions. They were so helpful and nice. Once we got to Greece our plane to Santorini was delayed twice so I had to call them and change our arrival time. They were so nice and accommodating. We arrive at night time and even then the hotel look so cute! There office is right at the entrance and it was super quick to check in. Once it was morning and I got to see the hotel, it did not disappoint. They have a cute little refreshing cave pool, I knew I had to get some good shots in this pool.  After you were done taking a swim you could catch the sun in their sunbathing section. There were four lounging chairs in a little terrace. In addiction each room had their tables to sit and have breakfast at in the morning, which was my favorite part. Theres just something about eating breakfast with a view.  Now lets get to the part y ‘all been waiting.. The room!

Room Details:
The rooms I stayed in was so big and so pretty, I wanted to shrink it and put it in my luggage. There was definitely a cave vibe, cool cave vibe, when you walked in. As soon as you step in your eyes take you to the back of the room through a glass door. That’s how long it was. Then you see a circle bed.. YES A CIRCLE BED! I was so skeptical about it, in my head I think I’m taller than what I really am so I did not think would be able to fit lol but I did. The bed was so comfortable it made it hard to get up in the morning. Next in the room you see a very cute built in couch with throw pillows and a built in side table with some super modern light fixtures. To your right you see a long desk/table with stuff to make coffee and a TV above the table. Straight ahead you see the comfy circle bed and some type of side table design. Passing the bed theres a concrete wall with a glass door and two glass windows, you could see straight to the back of the bathroom. Once you go in through the door to your left you see a very modern vanity/sink area. The sink was my favorite part. It looked like a tall vase, felt like Santorini Royalty lol. To your right you have a good size jacuzzi which had blue lights that you could turn on and some bubbles. Then you walk to a little hall way and to your right you have a glass door again and tucked in to what looks like a cave is a huge shower/sauna duo. I’m telling you, Royalty treatment or what.. The shower has a little bench and two shower heads, its basically the dream shower! In front of the shower is a little toilet, very simple and modern. All the finishing touches were a mixture of Santorini charm and modern.

Room amenities:
So you already know this room is looking fabulous or atleast you are thinking it. Well the room came with a small area to hang your clothes witch wasn’t too bad. They have a safe for all your important paper, accessories or what ever you may take that needs safe keeping. They have a blow-dryer (halleluiah), tooth brush and paste, shampoo, conditioner, body wash (the good kind), bathrobe with slippers and a good stocked mini bar (not free). These amenities were great because that means I don’t have to carry my own blow-dryer and if I didn’t want to use my airplane tooth brush I could use theirs and not forget mine. Also not many hotels give you good shampoos but these were great I really enjoy a good shampoo and conditioner. Another amenity that came with the room was free breakfast.. OMG their little sausage links and nice buttery and soft croissant will have you dreaming about it for days. Make sure you eat breakfast!! For all the amenities, hospitality and views I think their prices were not bad at all.

Chic hotel and staff were amazing! I loving going to a hotel where they are going to help you, be friendly and make you feel like they genuinely want you to be there. When I go back to Santorini I would definitely book with them again! Their location was also a plus! Santorinis Lookbook

Hey Gals,

Since I don’t think you gals have heard enough about Santorini (lol) let me share with you what I wore. If you haven’t read my Santorini Itinerary click this link and take a look! Well lets dive right in. I visited Santorini the last week of July, just so you can get a good idea of what the weather there was. It wasn’t unbearable but it was hot, the sun shines bright during the day but it was not cold, like some people suggested, during the night. My outfits were all super comfy, chic and light fabrics.

Outfit 1: Vintage two piece
Brand: Target
Color: light blue with mustard yellow flowers
Trip dets: Trip to Oia
Details:
This outfit is a two piece. The bottom part is a very flowy skirt with a small waistband and ruffles. The skirt goes from midi in the front to long in the back. When you grab the skirt it feel heavy, if I had to guess why, it would be from all the pleats on top and the bottom to make it as flowy as it is. The shirt of this set is a “crop top”  in the same color and print as the skirt. The shirt has an elastic neckline that goes off the shoulders. It also has some buttons as decoration in the front. The crop top also has an elastic hem line, which makes the shirt flowy. I wore this shirt to our trip to Oia because this outfit just seemed dreamy to me. Since we thought we would be walking all the way thee it also was super airy.

I decided to pair this with some super comfy white shoes from Payless, that I found for $10. The white made this outfit brighter and livelier. One of my favorite accessories was this Stetson hat. Its like a light gray color (similar one) and the hat band was the same white and blue you find on the streets of Oia. For my last accessories was this straw bag we are seeing everywhere. It’s from Shein and it looked amazing, surprisingly it can fit a lot of stuff in it. My second favorite accessory are these hope tassel earrings from Payless as well. They are the perfect statement piece and they matched my hat.

Outfit 2:  Santorini boho Chic
Brand:
Top- TjMaxx
Pants- Target (lots of similar ones)
Color:
Top: white
Pants: Green with a pink and white flower pattern
Trip dets: Visiting the Monostary
Details:
This one was one of my favorite outfits because the bell bottom long pants made me look like I was taller! The fabric was so breathable, I felt amazing in these pants. The design of them was so cute and girly with out making me look like I was trying to be boho! Lol. The pants had an elastic waistband with string which was great incase I wanted to over indulge (hahaha) They had to types of patterns and went to well together. There were bigger flowers on the main pants area and smaller flowers in some slits the pants had. The top was a crochet tank top in a white pearly color. It is a super pretty crop top and super comfortable. Even though it was crochet the material was super soft.  These two just came together perfectly.

This outfit since we were doing walking I paired it with my strappy black sandals from Payless. These sandals were so comfy they kind of felt like they had memory foam! Wore them every time I could. The next accessory were these colorful tassel earrings. I really didn’t want to wear sun glasses but I had taken these aviator look alike fake glasses. I felt like it just made the outfit perfect. Lastly I cant forget the straw purse. I’m telling you gals it is perfect!!

Outfit 3:Touristy Chic one piece
Brand: Burlington
Color: white and black detailing
Trip dets: Fira @ night
Details:
You can say this was a midi one piece. The pants came a little above my ankles with a little wide leg. They were mostly white with black graphic stripes. The top of the one piece is off the shoulder with a decorative elastic neck line and very flowy 3/4 sleeves. Perfect sleeve size for summer. The top of the one piece had the same type of design, except there were a lot more stripes. The neck line came in to a V but had zigzag strings. On the waist area both pieces came together with a small elastic waistband. This feature made the top of the one piece look a little more flowy. Perfect for a laid back afternoon. The one piece had a lining which I liked because if not this would have been a super sheer ensemble.

Since we were going to do some walking around I decided to wear my comfy black strappy sandals from outfit 3. Since I used this outfit for a late outing I used my very glamourous fanny pack (lol). It was an oval shape, black with a cute graphic of birds and flowers. The size was perfect for carrying the essentials: small wallet, phone, lipstick and portable charger. I wanted to add a pop of color so I tied this vibrant orange red with blue designs headband around my hand. The outfit just looked so laid back but put together. Its like when you see a models street style pictures.

Outfit 4: Bee Vreeland Inspired (Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants)
Brand: Target
Color:
Top- orange with colorful flowers
Bottom: Dark wash jean skirt
Vest: Military green
Trip dets: Archeological site
Details:
This is my first jean skirt ever since I was a teenager. Sometimes they don’t always fit great or don’t really hug the right parts of your body, but this one was amazing! The design is so simple yet so fashionable. To begin with it has a frayed hem, which if we are seeing in pants it is only right to see it on skirts. The front is has some light wash around the thigh area. Perfect for some color variation. This shirt is so cute! It reminded me of the elastic shirts my mom would buy my sister and me when we were little.  This is an elastic crop top with  short sleeves. The shirt goes a little of the shoulders, it gives it an extra sexiness to it. It is super stretchy and comfy, I loved wearing it. I had bought this vest on sale when I first found out I was going to Santorini because I had read about this Archeological site and it literally reminded me of the one Bee wore except hers was beige. This one was still perfect. The vest hits right below the waist with a pull string hem line. If I wanted for the vest to hit my above my hips I would just pull on it and tie it. I could also zip it up and pull on the string to make it more puffy at the top and could wear it as a “shirt vest” (obviously with a tube top underneath or something. My favorite thing were these big pockets it had in the front. It definitely helps you look smaller, since they are so big.. All about proportions, it can be a big asset.

Since I wanted to keep an “archeological” vibe (if that’s a thing lol) I paired it with my Payless sandals, similar to burking stocks, in the color nude. These bad boys are so comfortable I couldn’t get enough. When I wear them it makes me feel like a cool sexy mom lol. Really digging them! Of course I could forget my chic fanny pack, since I wore it around my hips it broke off all the color combinations going on in the outfit. The design on the fanny brought out more of that red. Toped this outfit with my timeless brown watch.

Outfit 5: Everything wrapped looks good!
Brand: She In
Color:
Multi dark colors
Black blue purple red white
Trip dets: Sunset dinner
Details:
My favorite kind of dress is a wrap dress and this one is amazing. I had seen this one a blogger I follow and she looked amazing in it, I loved the fit, so I found it online and bought it. If you are buying from Shein for the first time I would read the reviews on the product for sizing purposes. I love when the wrap dresses have and actual V-neck line, its just super flattering. These long sleeves are not uncomfortable, they are pretty loose and they are not too long. The don’t bother your when you are doing things, like some item of clothing when the sleeve surpasses my hand lol. At the end of the sleeve and at the hem of the dress there is some very cute ruffles, it gives it that flirty girly girl look. The print of the dress went vertical which gives illusion of tallness, Perfect for my shorties out there. It is a super fun  (in a very subtle way), sexy and playful dress.

img_8863
Paired it with:
All the color on the dress I wanted to break it off with my White slip on shoes from payless. They are so comfy, clean likes and brought out the white from the dress. Since I used this dress for a sunset dinner at super cute restaurant I had to wear these amazing beige tassel earing from payless. Lastly I wore a body chain on my chest area to make the V-neck pop in a sexy way.

Outfit 6: Get my Greek on 2 piece set
Brand: Target
Color: White with  blue designs
Trip dets: Morning stroll through Firostephani
Details:
When I first saw this two piece ( way before I knew I was going to Greece) I though this would be an amazing set for a Greece vacation.. And what do you know the following week I was buying the entire set for this vacation. The world works in a mysterious way. Overall this set is very comfy and flattering. These shorts were adorable, they had two pleats in the front and some amazing pockets, which if you have a little tummy like me, this is a great camouflager for that gut area. Again super comfy set because of the elastic waistband. The shirt is a crop top, a little more boxy style but still super cute. Short sleeves and a crew neckline, super fan of them. Makes the look more sophisticated. The best part was the fabric. it was very soft and breathable. In love! The other amazing part was the design super pretty and intricate. Because of the design this two piece reminded me of Greece so much.

Since this outfit was all about capturing the white and blue colors from Santorini, I had to wear my slip on white shoes from payless. They are so comfortable and such a cute design. I cant forget my straw bag once more. I have to say it really is my favorite bag, plus I had gotten it specifically for this trip so I had to use it all the time. Don’t you think?

Outfit 7: Weird length but cute one piece
Brand: Target
Color: Multicolor-green and pinks (other cute options)
Trip dets: Donkey & Cable ride
Details:
I know it’s a weird length but it looks so cute!! I was a little worried how it would look on me. I thought the length was going to be a problem. It turned out to be just fine. So this one  piece has spaghetti strap, which was perfect since it was a little hotter that day. My favorite part about the top part, its that it had a little opening, below the cleavage area and a cute little bow. It was just super girly! At the stripes curved inward into the opening which makes you look smaller. The pants have the same color stripes and the design run horizontal which makes us shorties look taller. If you haven’t notice I love piece that make me look taller.  The wide legged pants remind me of the culottes pants everyone was wearing not tool long ago. They are ankle length and the wide leg pants are super adorable and feminine.

When I was thinking of pairing this jumpsuit I choose my white and pastel colorful adidas sneakers (other options). We were going to be walking a lot and I didn’t want to be tired plus they are super comfy. Since I wanted to keep it simple and flirty I had to use my Shein straw bag. Also when in Greece you use straw bags all the time. Next was my favorite hat from Stetson, it was the perfect combination and covered my face from the beaming sun! I can’t forget about all my cute little statement rings, definitely a plus.

Outfit 8: 3 Words- Sexy Sexy Sexy
Brand: Amazon
Color: Blue base with tan and white stripes
Outfit dets: Last dinner in Santorini
Details:
The sexiest thing I have ever worn and I found it on Amazon. There comes a point in life when you also want to look sexy because we were all given the chance to be and act attractive. Theres a difference about being sexy and being bulger. Again when in Greece try new things. This dress had a lot of cut offs. The cleavage area had a huge section cut off. There was a draw string design, it seemed as if that was the waist band, it onnected the top part to the bottom. The skirt section had two very high splits. I recommend wearing a bikini bottom just incase the wind decided to play a Madeline Monroe moment lol. The length is up to your ankles so its perfect to wear flat shoes.. Though I did feel different with this number on, we all have to try something out of the ordinary once in a while. It was such a cute dress I couldn’t get over it. I’m so happy I bought it! #founditonamazon

img_9161
Paired it :
I wore this dress to our last dinner, so I opted for my black comfy sandals. I wore these again because they  literally feel like walking on a cloud. These sandals went perfectly for my street wear kind of look, I was going for. Again I couldn’t forget the straw bag, gave the dress a nice casual look to it and it also brought out the beige on the dress. To finish off the look I wore my brown Timex watch. Just to add a little extra I wore my hoop tassel earing. Perfect combination!

These have been by far my favorite outfit I’ve taken on trips! They all went along with the colors and vibes of Santorini, it was amazing. I really didn’t spend a lot of money on these pieces either. They all came from clearance racks or used coupon codes. Whenever I travel and want to build new outfits, I check out the clearance section, because we are still in summer and stores change inventory quickly so there’s always something cute you can purchase with out breaking the bank. Specially if you want to save money for your trip. Also ALWAYS check to see if they have coupons for what you are buying!

Santorini Travel Itinirary

I told you guys I would be writing the wanderlust vacation I took to Greece. To be more specific SANTORINI, because who doesn’t want to live their  “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” moment. There’s so much I wanted to share with you guys about this amazing trip I had to break it up. I decided to do an Itinerary post because we did went to all these places on our own and every place there were buses and buses of tourist, I felt very proud of the great schedule I had done. It saved us money and we did it on our own time frame and stayed as long as we wanted. Well lets start my Santorini itinerary!

Day 1

Trip to Oia:
I had read online to walk the trail from Fira to Oia. With out further research my friend and I started to walk the trail to get there. As we started walking we saw so many picturesque places and scenery. It was just mouth dropping, with all the gorgeous views. At the start of the walk we found this amazing Gelato place, you need to go to it, and it has the best name ever “Confetti Dessert Boutique“. After the Gelato we had already been walking about 3 miles but the first 2 miles where the best, after that I got too tired to keep walking. We tried to get a taxi but since there is not many in the island we gave up after a while and went to get lunch. The restaurant was super cute, they served the biggest burgers and delicious pitas. We both got very juicy hamburgers. We had seen a lot of people on ATVs and buggies while we were walking so we decided to rent one for the next 48 hrs. This prevented us from waiting a long time for a taxi or even their public transit bus. It would have been a lot of waisted time. Once we rented the buggy my friend drove us to Oia… it had such amazing views a long the way and the cool breeze hit our face felt so good. Once we got to Oia we started to walk up their streets and it was filled with cute little restaurants and very cute shops. We started to locate the 3 very famous domes. Luckily we found them but it was filled with tourist trying to get their perfect picture!. We did wait and lingered to get the perfect shot. We continued walking and found a great place for Instagram worthy pictures, close to the end of Oia. It had the perfect views. Once we were ready to leave we got a fruit smoothie from a place called Yummy and Sunny ( it was so refreshing) and drove back to Firastefanie. We were beat from the sun we decided to get in the pool and relax. Got a quick glimpse of the sunset and it was just jaw dropping. If you want to take the walk like us even if it is not all the way to Oia I would suggest doing it early in the day so the sun doesn’t beam on you too hard. While in Oia try to stay until the late afternoon, just so you can get a good look of the little town. Once we left and went back to the hotel, we just chilled and as a late snack got a Chicken Pita from a little shop so close to our hotel called, Why Not Souvlaki, they have the best of the best pitas. I got the chicken on a stick pita and it was like heaven in a very soft pita! You need to try these, oh and their Blakava is so sweet. I was in love with this place.

Tip: On this day and after walking this long path to Oia I would 100% recommend to rent an ATV or Buggy to be able to get to all the parts of the island.

img_8033

Day 2

This day was filled with lots of places we wanted to discover!
Fist stop, Monastary Profitis Ilias:
Second day we made the trip to Prof. Ilias Monastary. This cute little monastary is one of the highest point of the island. While I researched places to visit some of the post said this place had amazing views and it did not disappoint. We were able to see the entire island from one tip to the next. It really gave us the real perspective of Santorini; thought there is much to do in the big touristy areas filled with business, those parts are small compared to the entire island. There’s still a lot of land that is left alone or is harvested. It was so refreshing to see that. As you make your way up the hill to the monastary you encounter a pebble path that leads to the top of the monastary. At the top you can walk to the edge and see amazing island views  and visit inside the little monastary. The monastary is a really nice light coral color building and as you make your way in, there’s a cute little sit in area, then you walk farther inside and there’s several wooden chairs along the wall. The detailing all around is so minimal, with gold and the mesmerizing colored glass. We headed up to the Monastary late morning, this was a perfect time for us because it wasn’t packed with tourist at this time. We wanted to do things that were right by each other so we did waist time and so next to the monastary stood there was a little town called Pyrgos, which is were we went next.

Tip: This is more the action of being courteous  than tip, plus I read on some reviews that women shoulders should not be exposed, which is why I used a small blanket to cover up. Other tourist wore very revealing clothes and to me it didn’t seem very respectful. (just my opinion)

Pyrgos:
Like I mentioned, we headed to this little town after the monastary since they were so close to each other. This town is known for keeping their culture alive and not being so touristy. For the most part Locals live here. The architecture was a little different than Fira or Oia. I had also read that the food here was very good and traditional. We had such a delicious lunch. Tasted their Tzatziki with bread and it was so delicious. For my lunch entree I had a risotto, that was so creamy and the chicken so juicy. Every time we would go eat out I would order water because I felt so hot but at this place I got an orange Fanta and I was thinking I would be getting the typical orange color soda but it was yellow!! The ironic part is that it tasted the same. (I was shook, lol) The Kantouni restaurant, was so cute family oriented. It reminded me of my mothers childhood stories. The owners were there to welcome the people and make sure everything was running good, it just felt like such a great family restaurant! Going right after the monastary was a great idea because we were hungry and wanted to sit for a bit from doing all that walking. After lunch we walked around for a bit, saw the architecture and little places that they had. It was a great break before we headed to the next destination.

Black Beach:
This beach was spectacular! The “sand” were little black pebbles all through out the beach area, BEWARE they were soo hot, I  literally felt like I had burned my feet when I stepped into them. There were also huge pebbles inside the water. It was cool but I was also scared, felt like if I stopped stepping on the pebbles there was nothing more beneath me. The views from here were stunning. Big tan mountain next to the water and a  strip of shops and restaurants, it reminded me of San Diego’s beaches. We sat down on the little huts the restaurants had, the only requirement was to spend 20 Euros with them. It was not bad since the pebbles were so hot I don’t think I could lay out on a towel on top of hot rocks. It was such a relaxing time! We laid out, swam, had some drinks and looked out to some amazing views! We arrived at the beach around 1pm and it was great. The sun was out and we were able to get our tan on  and there wasn’t too many people. I did notice that as we were leaving a lot more people were just getting there. This beach was 45 min from where we were staying but since we were at Pyrgos it didn’t take us long to get there. Also I had a Mythos Radler Lemon beer and O M G it was the best beer I have tasted.. So freakin’ refreshing!

Tip: Buy water shoes! The pebbles were so hot it did not feel good when you stepped on them and the rocks in the beach sometimes were pointy and they hurt plus if you visit other beaches in Santorini you will need them.

Night at Fira:
Yes we did get a little break from running around all day and went back to the hotel to relax and get ready for a night in Fira. I read and saw so many cute pictures of Fira and I just really wanted to see it. This cute little town was not far from our hotel and it is filled with restaurants to choose from. Which we did, we really didn’t know what to get so we started walking and this cute little Mexican restaurant caught our eyes. It was so cute we had to try the food and see how it tasted. Later we learned that this restaurant chef is from Mexico City. The food was delicious, atleast my chicken fajitas were. After we ate we decided to walk around Fira. It was the best town I have ever seen. There were blocks and blocks of shops, restaurants, bars and clubs. We walked and saw locals walking around amoung us, tourist, and so many beautiful  jewelry shops with great selections! I cant get over how lit up the streets were with all the street and shops’ lights. When I researched Fira online there was a picture I had seen on the web of this street with bougainvillea flowers and the pictures looked beautiful. As we were walking we came across it. It  was just like the picture I had seen, I was ESTATIC! It was like a dream come true. I think I enjoyed walking around at night because, like I said the locals were out too and there were so many cultures walking and mingling. It was perfect.

Day 3:
Red Beach:
Third day and still not jetlag (well just a little but we didn’t let that stop us). Super excited to visit the red beach and see if it was really red like I had read. This beach is located in (look up location) The beach was 45 min away from us so driving there, again, was the best decision. We left late morning early afternoon. The sun was shinning bring just good enough to keep our tan going. As soon as we got there and parked, you see a small white and blue church super pretty and a path up a mountain. I was a little confused and then just thought maybe we have to go up and the beach will be right on the other side… No it was not. We climb up, around and down a not so safe path. It was a great experience and the views were exceptional. At the end it was a nice scenery, all that red on the mountains were to die for. Once you get down to the beach you will see that there is no sand, there is rocks!! AGAIN… Not a fan but it did look cool. Inside the water there is a lot more pointy rocks than at the black beach. This is where you water shoes come in handy again! We decided to sit in one of the umbrella chairs, you do have to pay 20 euros for a set but it is better than on the hot ground. The water felt so good and the views were Instagram worthy. Looking out to the red on the mountain path and the sailboats out on the water, just a dream come true.

Akrotoris:
After we were done at the red beach, we decided to go to this archeological site. It is on your way out of the red beach so why not just stop there. Plus its a great way to learned about how people use to live and how much work archeologist put in to find all these amazing things. We went mid-afternoon and there was not a lot of people which was great because it let us walk at our leisure and it wasn’t packed, so we didn’t feel like we wanted to leave right away. After this archeological site we saw how little villages were built back in the day. Every space of the village had signs explaining what they thought it was and what they had found in that area. It was amazing to see what each section was used for and what they had found buried in it. When you get towards the back of the museum there is, what the archeologist thought was a pantry, it was were they stored all their goods or extra things. Its astonishing to see the frame of that place and some of the “containers” where they stored things are still there. It was such a great experience. Reminded me of Bridget from The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. I would recommend this and a plus, the entrance fee wasn’t super expensive. I believe it was $12 for both of us. On this day it was pretty hot so we decided to go back to the hotel and get in the pool and chill before dinner. We ate at this amazing restaurant right on top of our hotel called, Onar. Sunset views are amazing here and food delicious.

Day 4:
Donkeys  and Cable car at Fira:
We woke up early to try and see the sunrise but sadly it was rising from the other side of the island and we didn’t want to walk around to see it.. Lol yes we were tired. Well we were awake and ready to go on this day. I had read about the donkey ride and how they take you down the stairs and then you can take the cable car up to Fira. So we did that exactly. My friend and I walked from Firostephani to Fira and again all the little places we saw along the way and the views were memorizing. Once we got there, we paid to ride a donkeys down the stairs. It was scary but a good experience. I know how to ride horses but riding a donkey going downwards was difficult. I felt like I was going to fall multiple times. Looking over those stairs to the water was such an inspiring view. After a few minutes we finally got to the bottom and walked around the port for a bit then paid to go on the cable ride up. Those views were amazing! The huge mountains with little white houses at the top. It was like no other view I have ever seen. There were different color soils and pebbles that build those mountains. Then we walked for a bit around the Fira stores and went back to the hotel. Guess what we did after this HOT, SMELLY ride. We got in that amazing little pool at the hotel. Water so refreshing and the views so calming. Unfortunately this was our last night there so we went to eat at this restaurant, that everyone seem to be enjoying. It was called Davinci and the pizza was delicious!
